Loving Heart Longing For More (subject to name change)

I wrote this song from the perspective of someone who loves the Lord and even though they are christian, they are trying to search God out even more and find him throughout his daily life.  This, I believe, is the mindset that all Christians should have.  Once you have taken that step to say yes to the Lord and put you faith in him, you should be constantly seeking him out.  I don't care if you have just become a christian, or if you're 80 years old and have been a christian all your life.  God, even though tells us who he is in through the Bible, will always remain a mystery and we can't and won't know everything there is to know about God until we go to heaven.  I anxiously await that day...

Verse 1
Wait for me I am walking in your steps
Counting time like a drum beat out of line
Hear me now it's my one shot to make this last
I need you, I need you

Can you tell by the way I say your name
I'm so in love with you
And you love me all the same
For all of my days, all of my days

Chorus
Can you hear me, I am calling out your name
I need you like the ocean needs the moon to tell it where to go
I am helpless, I am hopeless without you
I know you can see it in my eyes, I will always long for more

Verse 2
Listening to you song, It's in the birds that sing
Its in the wind that leaves
the leafs on the ground
It's your love that's all around

Chorus

Bridge
Where are you now? (wait for me)
Where are you now? (wait for me)
I'm in the mountains watching over you
I'll never let you go
Where are you now? (wait for me)
Where are you now? (wait for me)
I'm in the waves crashing on you knees
Can you feel the sand between you feet

Build Up x3
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
I'm running afteryou
I see you waiting to

Chorus

  1. What a way to capture how we all feel sometimes. New favorite! Must hear this one....MUST! :)I can not WAIT for the day when we can truly say like Job- "My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you." Job 42:5 So thankful for God's word- where we can get a glimpse. <3
